You Asked, I Listened!Over the last couple years, one of the most common requests I get is for minor scale and minor pentatonic PDF cheat sheets — which until now has been a big blind spot for me. But no longer! I’m excited to finally share with you all a huge amount of brand new print-friendly cheat sheets (42 pages), showing you a half-dozen ways to visualize the most common chords in print-friendly format. This includes the minor scales noted above, but I've also included the major & major pentatonic diagrams in this new formatting. You can download them all here... and keep scrolling for a birds-eye-view of what's included. One-Page Summaries
This batch has one-page summaries of the most popular scale types, giving you key-agnostic fretboard maps you can use when playing in any key. For each scale, I also include two additional bonus pages showing the same fretboard map for each of the 12 keys. 12 pages total. Includes major, minor, major pentatonic, minor pentatonic. Blues scales and mixolydian to follow before long! Key-Specific Cheat Sheets
If you’d like to dive deep into a specific key and learn one (or multiple) scales, these guides will be your friend! Each PDF includes 4 pages, each of which focuses on all possible “box” positions used to play the given scale… open position included. 20 pages total! Includes one page each for major, minor, major pentatonic, and minor pentatonic – for Keys of C, G, A, D, and E. Mixing Major & Minor
If you’d like to work on practicing major and minor at the same time within a single key, these guides have you covered! Each page shows major scale positions in the top half, and minor on the lower half. This makes it easy to jump your eyes up-and-down to practice mixing these up. Pentatonics (major and minor) are available as well, with their diagonal or "extended" shapes included for good measure. 10 pages total. Major vs Minor and Pentatonic Major vs Pentatonic Minor – for the Keys of C, G, D, A, E. Other Recommendations
If you’re wondering where these different scales come from, or would alternatively like to brush up on your CAGED shapes (major or minor), or need help reading scale diagrams… the following lessons will help you out.
